Why We Created This
At SCAS, every rescue is made possible because of the kindness and generosity of people like you.
As the number of animals needing our help continues to grow, so do the costs of caring for them. Food, veterinary treatment, medication, staff salaries, utilities, and daily shelter operations all add up—and every month is a challenge to ensure every rescued dog and cat receives the care they deserve.
